Our missions abroad seek to show Christ's love through the game of basketball.

Ace Hoops has an established partnership with Emmanuel Children’s Home in Juarez, Mexico. This city is significantly corrupted by poverty, devastation, drug trafficking, and violent crime. During our trips to the home, we put on a week-long basketball clinic for over 70 youth from the home and surrounding neighborhood. Our presence in Juarez far exceeds the teaching of fundamental concepts and skills of the game. Ace Hoops uses the game to serve, showing the love of Christ through conduct and example, and, in the process, building sustainable relationships for future interactions with the children.

Our missions seek to speak love through the game of basketball as we strive to be His Hands and Feet by serving those in need and to provide to those who participate the opportunity to grow in faith and love. The smiles on the faces of these precious kids are always contagious, creating a sense of joy and hope amidst their violent and corrupt surroundings.

As we continue to seek Christ’s face and His will as an organization, we hope to expand our abroad programming in 2010-2011 with more trips to Emmanuel, as well as to other areas in need. Email Tim to get more information about joining a mission.
